ASSEMBLIES
Our graduation assembly will take place Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 10:00 am in the cafetorium
GRADUATION PHOTOS RETAKES - MARCH 5 and 6, 2024
The graduation photo online booking site is now open and ready for students to start booking their appointments!
All graduates are expected to have their photo taken for the graduate composite. Graduation photo retakes are scheduled for March 5, 2024 and will take place in the table portion of the library.
You will be required to book your Graduation Photo Session, grab your student card, go to bookmygrad.ca, choose the studio option and enter your school code and student number to get started. School code MAZ.
Please feel fee to bring your own flowers, books, etc. to be photographed with during your session. There's no limit to your creativity.
GRADUATION FEES
The graduation fees are $70.00.
This fee offsets the cost of the Graduates luncheon, printing of diplomas, programs, prayer cards, group photo of graduates, facility rental, souvenir gown, cap, tassel and St. Mary's medallions. Fees are due by March 22, 2024. Please include the height of the graduate and the number of guests attending (each graduate is allowed 4 guests).
GRADUATION NAME CHECK LIST
Please come into the Guidance Office and visit with your Guidance Counsellor to check the gradation list to ensure that your name is listed correctly for diploma purposes.
GRADE 12 WARRIOR DAY - TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2024
Students are asked to dress in semi-formal wear (no jeans or shorts). Parents are encouraged to join us in our celebration at Mass.
Mass will begin at 9:00 am where the graduates will receive their St. Mary's medallions, Following Mass, graduates will stay at Maranatha Church for a keynote speaker and a brief graduation rehearsal and then return to St. Mary's for a delicious lunch. Prior to the lunch, the graduating class photo will be taken in front of the school.
GRADE 12 GRADUATION DAY - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 2024
Our Grade 12 graduation day is on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Invitations will be sent electronically to both parent's and student's email addresses. The Graduation Ceremony will take place at the Maranatha Church.
Graduates are expected to arrive the the church at 6:15 pm. At this time, all graduates will receive their gowns, caps and tassels and assemble for the ceremony.
COMMUNITY HOURS
Graduating grade 12 students are required to complete 40 hours of community involvement to fulfill their graduation requirements. All community involvement hours are due to the Guidance office by May 1, 2024. Below is the required form for completion of community involvement hours.
